Davis Picklesimer
Davis Picklesimer is from Highlands, North Carolina.
After attending Auburn University,
he began working in the financial industry where he
enjoyed a successful career for 15 years. During that time he served on
numerous boards of both profit and non
profit organizations including Habitat for Humanity
and Wallace Community College.
Two years ago he started his own financial firm in
Rosemary Beach, Florida.
While living in Florida, he served on the leadership
council for the Chapel in Rosemary Beach where he
was ordained and also served as chairman of the
mission's committee.
God has called Davis into a life of ministry
focusing on the restoration of men's hearts
and missions. Therefore, while running his business,
he is also pursuing a Master's of
Divinity Degree from Liberty University in hopes to
join the US Army Reserve as a
chaplain.
He currently resides in Dothan, Alabama
with his wife, Kristin, and two
daughters, Ella and Grace.
Bony Barrineau MD
Born and raised in the small country town of
Demopolis, Alabama, Bony, which is his given name,
dreamed of becoming a doctor. His dream
became reality as he attended medical school at the
University of Alabama and University of Alabama at
Birmingham and began his practice
in 1981.
Bony loves to get to know his patients as he
examines them, which made him known for long waits
and crowded waiting rooms. However, his patients
love him, and he ran a very successful practice as
an Orthopedic Surgeon for 28 years.
Bony retired from performing surgery in 2009 and is
currently the Director of Rehabilitation for
Northport Health Services. Dr. Barrineau has been
involved in ministry projects and missions for the
past 10 years and has participated in mission trips
around the world.
He has also been involved in addiction recovery
programs for over 20 years and most recently
helped create the very successful Celebrate Recovery
Program in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Bony resides in
Northport Alabama with his wife of 31 years, Robbie,
and his four children.
Brandon Agee
Brandon Agee is from Demopolis, Alabama. After
receiving a bachelors degree in Mechanical
Engineering, he began working in the
telecommunications industry for 10 years in the
Birmingham area. During that time he was a member of
the Inverness Rotary Club where he held several
positions including a member of the Board of
Directors.
While living in Birmingham, Brandon
earned his MBA from the University of Alabama
Birmingham. He is currently employed in the
healthcare field with NHS Management, LLC doing work
on various projects.
Brandon chose to join the Global Effect board to
help provide hope to the less fortunate in third world
countries. He truly believes in the vision of the
ministry and is confident
Global Effect
is truly making a difference in the lives of the
communities we are currently serving in the
Dominican Republic and Haiti.
Brandon currently
resides in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with his wife,
Jennifer, and daughter, Mary Ellen. They are members
of the First United Methodist Church of Tuscaloosa.
Ted Davison
Ted Davison spent his teenage years in England and
traveled extensively throughout Europe, encountering
different cultures and religions along the way.
Later, he returned to the States and received a
business and economics degree from West Virginia
University.
After graduation, Ted moved to Panama City Beach,
Florida where since 1978 he has been affiliated with
Treasure Island Marina.
In addition, he owns
numerous businesses and properties which all relate
to his love of the beach, water and boating. He has
been active in community fund raising and organizing
charity events in the Florida Panhandle.
Ted truly has a heart for helping others and feels
that
Global Effect provides opportunity for outreach to
so many in need as well as affording him the
blessing of serving and using his gifts for the
Kingdom of God.
Robert
C. Easter Jr.
Mr. Easter has successfully operated development and
construction entities, participating in numerous
successful JV real estate transactions, completing
projects that included SFR, town-homes, multifamily,
commercial office and retail for the past 20+ years.
Mr. Easter founded and operated 3 successful
construction and real estate acquisition entities
from 1992-1998.
Mr. Easter co-founded Laurcon Capital, LP in 1998.
Mr. Easter’s early management expertise began in
1986 -1992 as the REO manager of Easter and Easter
Realtors, a family owned enterprise that included
complete property management and property brokerage
with annual sales volumes of over $100 million
dollars in real estate transactions.
With Laurcon Capital LP, Mr Easter has daily
operational controls of all partnership interest
that include real estate assets, manufacturing
entities and equity investments, placements,
originations and/or participation.
Lee Sage
Lee Sage has extensive experience working with
diverse teams to improve productivity, reduce cost
and create more value for customers. His work
experience includes 15 years of operations and
materials experience in the automotive and appliance
industry and 20 years of operations consulting in
the automotive industry.
His strengths are working in a collaborative manner,
problem solving and developing people. He was one of
the founding members and first President of the
Association for Manufacturing Excellence which is
now 25 years old and 10,000 members.
Lee is also the author of the book, “Winning the
Innovation Race.” He has spent the last two years
building and operating two businesses in Bay County,
Florida.
Timothy Heck, Ph.D.
Dr. Heck serves as the Founder and President of
Family Counseling Associates
(www.fcahelp.com),
a Professional Counseling Center in Indianapolis,
Indiana with a strong and diverse clinical staff of
Psychiatrists, Marriage and Family Therapists,
Clinical Social Workers and Mental Health
Counselors, four locations serving the greater
Indianapolis area and Kokomo, and a 17 year history
of providing quality mental health services within a
Christ-centered value system. He is a Licensed
Marriage and Family Therapist with 22 years
experience working with couples in crisis and
individuals with mood disturbances. He holds a B.A.
in Christian Ministries, a M.A. in Hebrew
Scriptures, a M.A. in Counseling Psychology, and a
Ph.D. in Human Services. His clinical practice
specializes in the treatment of Adult Mood Disorders
and Marital Therapy.
Tim also has a love for teaching and helping people
grow in their understanding of Christian faith and
applying that faith to the challenges we all face in
life. To that end he serves as Assistant Professor
of Counseling in the Graduate Counseling and
Marriage & Family Therapy Program of Liberty
University, where he teaches courses in Research,
Theories of Integration, Human Services, and Marital
Therapy. Tim and his wife, Margie, also provide
workshops, retreats and are regular speakers in a
variety of venues, promoting healthy marriages,
godly parenting, and spiritual formation. They are
blessed with five children, four grandchildren, and
many “adoptive” children they have been able to have
in their home over the years through their work as
Therapeutic Foster Parents, Respite Foster Parents,
short-term caregivers for missionaries, children
receiving medical
care from Haiti and others with whom they could
share the love and compassion
of Christ.
Tim and Margie live in Indianapolis, Indiana with
their 14-year old son, Brian. Their love for the
people of Haiti is strong and their desire to extend
support for the work of Global Effect is a wonderful
opportunity in which they are both excited to
participate for many years to come.!
