We choose projects and communities where we believe the need is greatest and our solutions and strategic approach can be a catalyst for transformation.  Our project locations are typically struggling economically, socially, educationally and spiritually.  They do not have access to clean drinking water, employment or the basic necessities for life.

Discovery
We believe that each community is unique and those who live in the community know it best.  We work closely with community leaders to carefully ascertain and understand the significant challenges facing the community and the key drivers that appear to inhibit the needed change. We collaborate, research and conduct surveys in the community with the aid of local leaders in government, business, churches and school systems.

Build the Coalition
In addition to community partners, we look to our partnering organizations that may have expertise in certain areas of need.  If, in some cases, we have not forged partnerships with experts equipped to meet an identified need, we find them.  And after a careful vetting process, invite them to join us in our transformation work.

Develop and Implement the Plan
Once research is completed, the needs and desires of the community are clearly understood and the coalition built, we cooperatively develop a Transformation Plan. Each community Transformation Plan is laid out with specific objectives in site and a realistic understanding of existing constraints.  Each plan includes both short and long term goals.

Measure the Plan
Quarterly evaluations are done in each community to monitor and validate the changes that are taking place in each area of need. Inevitably, with each plan some change is required, due to unanticipated constraints or assumptions.

Why Our Strategy Works:

By partnering with local, government, business, church and school leaders, credibility and key relationships are already established.

Local churches play a significant role in the life-blood of a community and, often, the sustainability of projects.

Our Transformation Plans are flexible and include measureable outcomes that enable us to validate the viability of the plan or adjust plans, as necessary.

Global Effect strives to engage the whole community and addressing their needs holistically.
